I am finding it so hard to believe it has been a year since this amazing little girl came into this world! And it is amazing how someone can change so much in a year. I will not lie those first few months were tough for me, it is kind of a thankless job, feeding, feeding, sleeping a little and feeding some more. But as soon as we hit the 4 month mark something changed either we finally figured her our or she figured her self out (or both). It has been nothing but not stop fun since then!
I enjoy ever single day with her even if she does get me up at 515. I love waiting to hear her in the morning say "Da" then wait a little bit and hit the top of the crib like, 'Hey get in here!'. I love how she helps put her clothes on. I love how she sometimes helps pick out her clothes. I love how when you ask her if she is hungry she nods "Yes!" I love how she now gets excited when I walk through the door at daycare, (she used to barely even notice when I came). I love how she LOVES to eat! She can go from totally cranky to perfectly content with a simple snack! Needless to say I am an incredibly lucky mom to be able to be with this little girl every day!
The picture was taken at daycare on Halloween, she was the only kid awake at the time and got the halloween treat! PS I love the idea of putting the kids in an oversized t-shirt to feed them cupcakes! Genius!

On two legs
I am a little behind in my posting, but Ella is walking! And has been for about 3-4 weeks, yes thats right my daughter is a "go-getter"! We have transitioned to almost all table food, she still has issues with "slimey" foods like peaches but the other night I thought hey why not try frozen blueberries! And she loved them! The slimey-ness was gone and I just cut the fresh but frozen blueberries in half for her and voila all gone! We are currently on our second cold of the season which worries me that this might be a long winter of sickness, but I am trying not to let it get me too down.
While fall is actually one of my least favorite seasons (because of what comes after) this fall we are looking forward to:
my husband being home more with the cooler temperatures
the first time ella gets to jump in a pile of leaves
playing outside more (its been so hot this summer we had to spent a lot of time indoors)
decorating with pumpkins
ella turning ONE!!!!
and dressing up for halloween!

9 months
Here is our little almost 19 pounder! She has decided its super fum to climb stairs, stand, take a few steps, dance, eat, make airplane/ car noises. We have had a wonderful summer so far, as you can tell by the lack of posting! Her favorite foods are: avacado, banana, carrots, puffs, well actually in all honesty the only food she sort of diliskes is green bean.

She's on the move!!
Yumm!
In an effort to save some money and make some tasty food for ella, I have decided to make my own baby food. Who knew it could be so easy! Above is 1 bag of carrots, peeled chopped and ready to boil.
Cooked and ready to process. I added some of the cooking water to the carrots to make them smoother.
Yummy!
This silicon baby food tray was a gift but you can use ice cube trays. One bag of carrots made 15 1oz servings.
Ella loving the carrots momma made! She loves squash and cereal, however green beans she was NOT a fan of. The faces she made were hilarious!

YAHOO!
They are gone!! The wicked ear infections are gone!!! If you would have asked me monday if she was better I would have said definitely not, but tuesday night she slept through the night. And yesterday we went to get her ears checked and VIOLA gone! I was coming to the realization that we were probably going to have to see the Ear nose and throat doctor and most likely get tubes. This past week she was on Azithromicin and I tried Colloidal silver drops in her ear and whether it was one or a combination of the both but something worked.
So my happy, curious, giggly, smiley, energetic little girl is back to being healthy, which makes me one very happy mom!

Just can't shake it!
Sorry don't know why its sideways again, it was from my phone.
Well this little girl still has her double ear infection, we are on our third bottle of antibiotics and if this last one doesnt work looks like we are getting tubes. Cross your fingers please, I would really like to avoid surgery if possible. My husband said if she is this happy with ear infections what is she going to be like when her ears don't hurt.
