7.5 weeks

Somethings about this beautiful girl!

1- Naptimes are awesome! You can get so much done.
2- The swing, a pacifier, and the moby wrap are my best friends!
3- I love when she stares off into space then I start talking to her and she gives me the biggest smile she can muster up.
4- the halo sleep sack was my best friend until our little houdini, figured out how to get her arms out. So no more sleeping in the bassinet up in mom and dads room because her arms kept slapping the sides of it! We are now in her crib and mom and dad have moved down stairs.
5- she is not the most lady-like when it comes to burps, toots or poops!
6- she has started to chatter, and found her voice this past week, she just babbles away to me.
7- her 6th week of life was a rather fussy week, there were several days where i swear all she did was scream. I simply could not put her down. she also decided to get up at 1 and 4 am every night, while she had previously been going from 8-3.
8- week 7 was a major turning point i now have my happy baby girl back!
9- i love being ella's mom!

2 weeks!!

Ella hanging out in Justins arms with a cute little headband.. the first of many....

Cannot believe it has been two weeks already!

Everything has been going really well, she has somewhat of a schedule, I can sort of tell the differences between her cries. The newborn clothes are starting to fit a little more snug, we tell her thats a good thing though. And last night was the first sleepover at grandma and grandpa webers house. She had been a bit of a fuss button the last couple of nights, and then she goes to grandmas and sleeps 5 hrs, then another 4!! Amazing, we might be moving back in if she keeps that up! Ha!

But it has been an absolute treat getting to know and spend time with this little peanut, she is really starting to follow us around more and is awake quite a bit more during the day.

Rockstar!

An awfully big yawn for one tiny little girl!!

Gotta hold on to that bink with all 4 fingers!

Well we had our "2 week" check up today, it was the telltale sign if she was eating well, which she has but had she gained weight??? She amazed us all and had surpassed her birth weight in only 11 days!! She is now 8lbs 1 oz!! I am so proud of her!

Yesterday was my first full day at home alone, needless to say I was nervous sunday night but everything went just fine! She even seems to have some what of a schedule right now, the last two days she has stayed awake for a while after I feed her, and is really doing a very good job sleeping. Justin and I joke how its not really bed time for us just nap time. As we go to bed about 7-9 depending on her schedule!!

One of her feedings is about the time I used to get up to go to work, and now it seems so early and that is when I struggle the most to get up. Just makes you chuckle how much life changes in such a short amount of time.

She really is a very good baby, Justin and I are so blessed to have her in our lives!

Family of 3

Daddy's favorite chair and little girl

Ella's favorite spot to take a nap

Eyes wide open!

Sorry not very many pictures, trying to get as much done during nap time as possible!

Ella Margaret

She is here!! Born on 10/28/11 at 9:13 am. What an amazing little one, we cannot believe how much she has changed our lives already!!A little about the birth...

Contractions started thursday 10/27 only a few an hour, I went to work as usual with a mocha!! Around 1 they had increased to about 15 min apart. Did a few things around the house, and ran a few errands with justin and by the time the errands were done, i couldnt sit in the car anymore. They had intensified!!! By 9pm they were 5 min apart and at 10:17 we arrived at the hospital. (dont ask me how i remember 10:17, its very scattered of what i remember of that night.) At 3 or 4 am I was still only 4 cm, there was mention of drug some morphine so i could get some rest, but by the time the midwife brought in the drugs my contractions had intensified... bam 6cm!! So we couldn't use any drugs. then by about 7 am I was 8-9 cm. At 8am i was able to start pushing and by 9:13 am Ella was born!

It was such a feeling of relief to finally have her in my arms, and my big goal was to do it with out drugs and I did it! with the help of my wonderful husband I am sure his hand is still sore, and a wonderful bunch of nurses and midwives!

38

I had our 38 week appointment yesterday. She said it was up to me if I wanted to be checked for dialation and what not. I decided not to be, that way I can just "enjoy" these last few days/weeks without the added pressure of knowing if I am or not dialated. The midwife said even if you are 2-3 cm, it could mean nothing and still be 2-3 weeks away.

I do believe kicker is starting to get a bit more restless inside as it moves like crazy sometimes. I have also noticed in the last week or so that it is very responsive. If I scratch or rub my belly it usually will kick something back at me. Justin and I both have enjoyed playing with its feet or legs (we kinda shove it around!!) gently of course!

Also everyweek there is something different with me. Last week I was very tired and took many naps, this week its a midnight snack of tums..... Let me tell you its not so tasty, but we are on the home stretch and its nice knowing all this is coming to an end and we finally get to see if this little one is Joel or Ella!!!!

Yesterday we went for a walk/hike around Afton State park, I had never been there but was impressed. It was a really neat little park! We decided to set up the tripod and take a few pics in the prairie!

Wierd!!

Well I just had my first stranger touching my belly experience!! I was leaning back in my chair at work, trying to figure out what body part was sticking out when a random hispanic male coworker came up and started to rub my belly!

I was so shocked I had no idea what to do. The funny thing was just yesterday I was saying that I have never had a stranger touch my belly!

I really have no problem when people that I know touch it, but especially male strangers are a little "Strange"!!!

Hiccups!

The babe has started to have hiccups now! I felt them last week, and last night Justin and my mom got to feel them for the first time. Poor little thing had them for quite a while too, it doesnt know how to drink from the opposite side of a glass or hold its breath (although I don't want it to do that right now!)

Have a great day!

Babies Room!!!

Baby Room!!

Daddy putting together the crib

Nothing like a little chair rail and some stripes!

28- Third Trimester!

Birthday boy and family of 3!

Looks a little funny shaped in the pic. Feeling great still and continuing to grow. I am noticing more spills on the belly as it becomes the "catch all" area. Baby moves like crazy, and has started to kick in its favorite spot, just above my belly button. My iron was low at the appointment on monday so I am starting iron supplements.

24 weeks

Notice the big growth spurt and the pretty Bella Anna Hydrangea in the background? This is around the time when it started to get REALLY hot and humid! All I have to say is thank goodness for air conditioning!

Half Way!

Baby Bicek at 20 weeks, everything normal heart beat in the 140s.

Belly bands came in handy as most pants didn't button any more!
