She is here!! Born on 10/28/11 at 9:13 am. What an amazing little one, we cannot believe how much she has changed our lives already!!
A little about the birth...
Contractions started thursday 10/27 only a few an hour, I went to work as usual with a mocha!! Around 1 they had increased to about 15 min apart. Did a few things around the house, and ran a few errands with justin and by the time the errands were done, i couldnt sit in the car anymore. They had intensified!!! By 9pm they were 5 min apart and at 10:17 we arrived at the hospital. (dont ask me how i remember 10:17, its very scattered of what i remember of that night.) At 3 or 4 am I was still only 4 cm, there was mention of drug some morphine so i could get some rest, but by the time the midwife brought in the drugs my contractions had intensified... bam 6cm!! So we couldn't use any drugs. then by about 7 am I was 8-9 cm. At 8am i was able to start pushing and by 9:13 am Ella was born!
It was such a feeling of relief to finally have her in my arms, and my big goal was to do it with out drugs and I did it! with the help of my wonderful husband I am sure his hand is still sore, and a wonderful bunch of nurses and midwives!
